We're eQuest Solutions - a Shopify Plus development agency working with growing DTC and enterprise brands since 2015. Certified Shopify Partner. And a 100% delivery success rate across every engagement we've taken on.
What we actually do: we build the things that make Shopify stores work at scale. Custom apps, checkout extensions, Shopify Functions, subscription flows, headless storefronts on Hydrogen and Remix, and the middleware that keeps ERPs, 3PLs, and everything else talking to each other. When Liquid isn't enough, we go deeper.
Subscription commerce is where we spend a lot of our time. We've built custom customer portals that go well beyond out-of-the-box functionality, engineered dual-platform architectures to solve regional billing restrictions, migrated complex subscription bases across platforms without losing a single active customer, and designed dynamic bundling and rewards logic that meaningfully lifts LTV. Recurring revenue is a different kind of engineering problem, and we've learned it by shipping it.
Our team covers the full stack around Shopify - Liquid, React, Node, Laravel, Python, and everything in between. So when a project needs more than a theme edit, whether that's a custom configurator, a middleware layer syncing millions of records, or a checkout extension enforcing complex business rules, we can build it end-to-end without handing you off to another vendor.
If you're a brand or agency looking for a Shopify partner who ships clean code, communicates clearly, and thinks about your business as much as your codebase - let's talk.

Subscription platform migrations to Loop
Subscription migrations are where most agencies quietly lose customer data, break billing cycles, or force merchants into weeks of downtime. We've moved thousands of active subscribers between subscription platforms - ReCharge V1 to V2, ReCharge to ChargeBee, EU and US customer bases consolidated into a single subscription system with zero data loss and no interruption to billing. The same discipline carries directly into Loop onboarding: subscriber records mapped cleanly, billing anchors preserved, dunning history intact, and every active customer landing on the other side of the migration with their next charge exactly where it should be.
Custom product configurators on Shopify Plus
For a personalized gift business running at 50,000+ daily visits, we built a live product configurator directly inside Shopify Plus - customers upload photos, choose logos, edit stats and names, and see their custom product update in real time on a Canvas-powered preview. Behind the scenes: a Node.js image-processing API with automated AI background removal, BunnyCDN storage for high-volume image handling, and a Laravel + MySQL + Redis staff backend that handles quality review, customer proof approvals, and print-ready file generation. When your product is customizable at scale, this is the architecture that makes it possible.
Performance optimization and B2B on Shopify Plus
A fragrance brand running 80,000+ daily visits was losing conversions to slow load times and struggling to scale its B2B and OEM operations on legacy Ruby scripts. We stripped out Alpine.js, rewrote the frontend for Core Web Vitals, and migrated legacy discount logic to native Shopify Functions - which drove a meaningful lift in average order value. Then we built a React.js packaging design tool integrated into the store so OEM clients can spec their own private-label bottles on-site, and a Node.js automation engine that dynamically flips selected B2B products to promotional pricing on scheduled days. Performance and B2B aren't separate workstreams - they're two sides of the same growth story.
Enterprise ERP and third-party integrations with Shopify
For a large online bookstore managing 1.5+ million SKUs, we architected a custom Laravel and Node.js middleware layer that acts as the single source of truth between a third-party product data provider, a custom ERP, and Shopify Plus. Real-time inventory, dynamic pricing, and stock-level updates flow across all three systems continuously - throttled intelligently under Shopify's API rate limits, cached for sub-second response times, and processed via background jobs so nothing blocks the customer experience. We also built an intelligent promotional engine that analyzes catalog data to identify optimal discount opportunities and applies bulk pricing changes across thousands of titles at once. When your catalog outgrows what Shopify handles natively, this is the architecture underneath.
Custom subscription portals and customer experiences
Merchants outgrow default subscription portals quickly. For a European meal replacement brand serving 150,000+ customers across 88 countries, we built a fully custom customer portal well beyond default functionality - product swapping, subscription pausing, personalized nutrition tracking, and dynamic bundle building all inside the storefront. We also engineered a checkout that recognizes lifetime value and automatically rewards long-term customers with free products, and consolidated separate EU and US stores into a unified Shopify Markets architecture without losing a single active subscriber during the migration. This is what subscription commerce looks like when the tooling actually serves the customer.
Our team has deep, hands-on experience with Loop Subscriptions, built over several years of client implementations. Our process typically follows a structured path:
1. Discovery
We review the client's current setup (existing subscription platform, Shopify store structure, and business rules) to map out what needs to move and what needs to be built or adjusted.
2. Migration Prep
While Loop handles the core subscription data migration, we prepare the groundwork on our end: auditing product and plan structures, flagging edge cases, and coordinating timing with the client to minimize disruption to active subscribers.
3. Storefront Updates
We handle all storefront and theme customization needed to support the new subscription flows, including checkout adjustments, customer account changes, and any custom logic specific to the client's business model.
4. Testing
Before go-live, we run through test scenarios covering billing cycles, plan changes, cancellations, and edge cases, to confirm everything behaves as expected once real subscribers are on the new setup.
5. Go-Live Support
We're actively present during the cutover, monitoring the transition in real time and ready to resolve anything that comes up immediately rather than after the fact.
6. Post-Launch Monitoring
After go-live, we continue monitoring for issues, fine-tune configurations based on real usage, and remain available for ongoing support as the client's subscription program evolves.
Because we've built a direct relationship with the Loop team over time, we're also able to escalate issues or request additional platform access faster than standard support channels, which helps keep implementations on schedule.
